TOTALLY RANDOM!!! 
I have absolutely NO idea where this came from! One minute I was working on my next dA horses pic, then all of a sudden, I decided I *really* wanted to draw Spirit! I was originally going to draw foal Rain in this too, but she turned out crap, so I'll leave her for another picture.
So here's Spirit, licking up snowflakes!
Not much to say, really - I guess I wanted to practice doing backgrounds and play around with brushes. Oh, and I wanted to practice proper Spirit-style art, now that I have the means to!
This isn't a very summery pic, is it?
